About the Road Tour

The Kentucky Science &Technology Corporation (KSTC) and the Kentucky Science & Engineering Foundation (KSEF) are hosting the 2017 SBIR Road Tour on July 21, 2017 (8:00 AM-4:00 PM) at the Marriott Griffin Gate, 1800 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY.

The SBIR Road Tour is a national outreach effort to convey the non-dilutive technology funding opportunity provided through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Federal and State Program Managers representing $2.5 billion in early stage funding have been invited to present to a series of events to technology entrepreneurs and innovation supporters from across the United States. This event is a coveted opportunity for those involved in the advanced technology communities, including women-owned and minority-owned firms.

If you are an innovator, entrepreneur, researcher or small technology firm, take advantage of this opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky to hear directly from federal agency program managers and meet one-on-one with program decision makers.

Federal Program Officers and conference speakers will be available for 15-minute pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings during the conference. Details for requesting one-on-ones will be included in the "registration confirmation" email. One-on-ones occur all day, by appointment. The deadline to request your meetings and receive your schedule in advance is Monday, July 10th at 12:00 PM.  Participants who register after July 10th will be accommodated for meeting requests on-site if openings are available.
