Proposal Title Diamond Thin Films for High Performance X-Ray Windows

Abstract UHV is developing high performance nano-layered, low-Z (carbon, diamond and boron) free standing thin films for DOE's high energy physics accelerators under a SBIR Phase II project. In this KY matching funds project, we will use these nano-diamond thin films to develop high value x-ray windows for commercial x-ray analytical instruments and medical CT imaging systems.
