Proposal Title A Low Cost Instrument for Online Real Time Metal Analysis During Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Abstract In a NIH funded SBIR Phase I contract, UHV is developing a modular instrument that can be used for online real time analysis to determine metal impurities during pharmaceutical manufacturing. In the proposed KY SBIR matching funds project, UHV will install this instrument on a conveyor typically used by pharmaceutical companies and demonstrate its effectiveness. In addition, UHV will seek one or more KY based pharmaceutical companies to install and demonstrate this innovative technology for Phase II funding from NIH and Phase III commercialization.
